Your staff is always and will always be your main and most important resource. The task to create and maintain a dynamic spa team, a team that is not only able to meet up with the high service and quality expectations but also able be perceptive and genuine at once, is a demanding task for you as a Spa Manager.

The overall purpose of human resources (HR) is to ensure that the Spa is able to achieve success through its people. It is all about finding the best way to manage the human capital (your staff) and putting focus on implementing policies and processes. This includes finding, recruiting, selecting, training, and developing employees, as well as maintaining employee relations or benefits. Regular training ensures that employees are well educated have continuous professional development. This is done through training programs, performance evaluations, and reward programs.
Human resource management (HRM or HR) is the strategic approach to the effective and efficient management of people in the organization an to maximize employee performance in service of and each team member´s strategic objectives.
